Chris and I (Aubrey) have been a huband/wife team since 2013 when we got married at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie; a wedding venue we also manage together on Chris' parent's 60-year-old farm. After I got pregnant six years ago, Chris let me know how much it would mean to him to raise our kids on a property of our own. So, we found this beautiful place only a few minutes away from where he grew up.

Ballard Meadows has quickly become our life's work, and a place where so many wonderful memories have been made. Even after 13 years of doing weddings, I cry every weekend (don't worry, they're happy tears) as I witness the love and commitment of two people making the decision to love, honor, and care for each other every day for the rest of their lives.

Chris and I are always working to improve the property, so don't be too surprised if you come out for a tour, and you see new trees, fresh landscaping or new wood tables (Chris loves to build things) that you didn't see here on the website. We're so grateful to be wedding venue owners, and we look forward to serving our beautiful couples for years to come.
